MIRI, March 27: Sarawak For Sarawakians (S4S) will be holding a people’s rally titled “Leave or Stay” this July 22 (Monday) in conjunction with Sarawak Independence Day.
Its spokesperson Lucas Chin said details of the rally such as the venue and activities will be made public soon.
“The rally is a sign of dissatisfaction of Sarawak people towards the Pakatan Harapan federal government and state government.
“The voices of dissatisfaction are increasing everyday as there is no sign of (returning of) autonomous rights to Sarawak.
“Both (of the) governments seem to forget the people’s wish and desire as there is a lot negative outlook and unstable politics.
“Don’t look down on people’s power as we ourselves will unite in strength,” said Chin in a press statement today.
He said after almost 60 years, Sarawak’s rights have been forgotten.
“Our team is sharing the information of the rally throughout the state. We invite all Sarawakians to join this rally,” said Chin. — DayakDaily
