KUCHING, July 17: A section of Jalan Kuching-Serian (DI 1–12A), specifically from Petronas Batu 8 heading towards the Batu 8 Traffic Light, will be partially closed to facilitate road repair works starting July 18 until Aug 1, 2025.
According to a notice issued by the Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak, the closure will involve half of the road and is necessary for maintenance and road resurfacing activities.
The public is advised to exercise caution when travelling through the affected area and to adhere to all warning signs posted around the construction site.
