KUCHING, May 2: The police are now looking for two men who fought in the middle of the road along Jalan Pending on Tuesday (April 30) in a recent viral video.
According to Kuching District police chief ACP Ahsmon Bajah, a police report has been received in connection with the case, and further investigations are ongoing.
“A police report was received regarding a video that went viral on social media involving a fight on Jalan Pending on April 30 at around 9am.
“The police are still in the process of tracking down the suspects involved,” he said in a statement.

The incident is thought to have started as a result of dissatisfaction with not being given the right of way.
Ahsmon further said the investigation was conducted under Section 323/506 of the Penal Code for causing injury and criminal threats.
If convicted, the punishment may include imprisonment, a fine, or both.
“We call for the cooperation of the public to channel information related to the incident by contacting the IPD Kuching Control Centre at 082-244444 or any nearby police station,” Ahsmon added. — DayakDaily
