KUCHING, Sept 15: The road near Plaie Roundabout along the Kuching-Samarahan Expressway in Kota Samarahan will be closed for two months, from Sept 17 to Nov 17, 2025, to facilitate the construction of the Autonomous Rail Transit (ART) guideway and culvert.
Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd said the closure will be enforced 24 hours daily throughout the period to ensure works are carried out safely and smoothly.
“Road users are advised to be cautious when driving in the affected area. Please adhere to all traffic management measures, road warning signs, and speed limits to safeguard both road users and construction workers,” it said in a statement.
The company added that it will duly notify the public if there are any changes to the notification.
Road users are also reminded to plan their journeys accordingly to avoid unnecessary delays.
