KUCHING, March 19: Road maintenance and repair works for five villages in the Tebedu area is expected to be completed by May 16.
According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, Tebedu assemblyman Dr Simon Sinang Bada handed over the projects to Serian District Council (SDC) as the implementing agency during a ceremony held at Kampung Mawang Tahup and Kampung Entubuh on Friday.
The projects worth RM400,000, funded through the Malaysian Road Records Information System (Marris), started in February and are expected to be completed within three months.
During the ceremony, Sinang advised community leaders to be aware of the specifications or scope of each project implemented in their respective villages.
He said if the implementation of the project does not follow the specifications, then a complaint can be made to the contractor and implementing agency or the service centre. ― DayakDaily
