KUCHING, Sept 2: The Jalan Tun Jugah road stretch heading towards the BDC roundabout will be temporarily closed for 15 days starting tomorrow (Sept 3) until Sept 17, 2021.
The Public Works Department (JKR) in a statement today, said the temporary closure will start from 8pm until 5am daily throughout the period to allow heavy machinery operators to carry out their job at the site.
The department gave assurance the road will be opened as soon as possible if the maintenance work is completed earlier than scheduled, to facilitate traffic movement.
Road users are advised to follow the signage provided, cooperate with the traffic controller officer in the area, and plan their travel routes during the closure period.
