“Although the Red Line was originally in excellent condition, after eight years, some sections now require repairs,” he told a press conference after officiating the 2nd Borneo Infrastructure Symposium at Curtin University Malaysia today.

Nanta, who is also Kapit MP, highlighted that with an allocation of RM700 million, construction works at several locations are expected to be completed by 2025.

He expressed confidence that the Red Line, which spans 136 kilometres, will provide significant benefits to the people.

“However, some areas along this route may look different as they were not included in the original Pan Borneo Highway project,” he explained. — DayakDaily
