KUCHING, June 6: The Sarawak Government will provide a special financial assistance of RM500 to all state civil servants in conjunction with the double festive celebrations this month.
Sarawak celebrated Gawai Dayak on June 1 while Hari Raya Aidilfitri is expected to fall on June 15.
According to a press statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office today, the special aid will be paid on June 13.
It will benefit all those who are still in service as of June 5 this year.
The statement also said the aid beneficiaries include state statutory bodies and local authorities. — DayakDaily
