KUCHING, April 6: All Sarawak civil servants will receive RM500 as special assistance for Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Gawai Dayak.
The office of the Premier of Sarawak (OPS) in a statement today said the special assistance would be paid in the month of April, before the Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Gawai Dayak celebrations.
“This grant is to appreciate the services and sacrifices of Sarawak’s civil servants in shouldering the responsibility of delivering services to the people, especially during this challenging period.
“The Sarawak government also hopes that the provision of this 2022 Aidilfitri and Gawai Dayak special assistance will ease the financial burden of civil servants as well as be an incentive for them to continue to serve with full dedication,” said OPS. — DayakDaily
