Residents unhappy over construction materials, heavy vehicles at Taman Uni-Central playground

KOTA SAMARAHAN, Sept 25: Taman Uni-Central residents in Kota Samarahan have expressed their concern over the placement of construction materials and heavy vehicles at a playground in the area.

In a short statement to DayakDaily, one of the residents urged Kota Samarahan Municipal Council (MPKS) to take immediate action on the matter.

“Construction materials and heavy vehicles are being left here or parked indiscriminately at a playground at Taman Uni-Central, Kota Samarahan.

“This blatant disregard for safety endangers the playground users, especially young children.

“MPKS must take immediate action to protect this popular playground where children play and adults jog everyday,” the statement read. — DayakDaily
