KUCHING, July 15: Rembus Roundabout in Kota Samarahan will be closed to all traffic for 24 hours daily over a 15-day period beginning July 17 to facilitate culvert crossing works, Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd (Sarawak Metro) has announced.
According to a public notice issued by the company today, the temporary road closure will remain in effect until Aug 1, 2025.
Motorists are advised to plan their journey accordingly and to exercise caution when travelling in the affected area.
Road users are also reminded to adhere to all traffic management measures, road signs, and speed limits to ensure the safety of both commuters and construction workers.
Sarawak Metro assured that it will duly notify the public of any changes to this closure notice.
