KUCHING, Dec 6: Reflexology, spa and wellness businesses in Sarawak are allowed to resume operations with standard operating procedures from December 7 onwards.

The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a press statement today revealed operators must apply for a written approval from the divisional disaster management committee (DDMC) through the Resident’s Office before reopening and submit a copy of the written approval to their respective local council.

Local councils and related agencies will then conduct checks and ensure that the premises abide by the guidelines and SOPs which have been set out.

Operators and employees are required to undergo Covid-19 screening and their test results must be negative and effective three days prior to the reopening of business.

SDMC added spa, wellness and reflexology business operators must display the Covid-19 swab test results of their employees at their premises.

Operators may obtain the detailed SOPs for reopening from local councils. Once given the green light, they are allowed to operate from 10am until 12 midnight. — DayakDaily
