KUCHING, Oct 15: The Batang Rambungan ferry service from Kuching to Lundu will only operate until 8.30pm on Oct 20.
The Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak, in an advisory, informed that the temporary change of operating time of the ferry service is to make way for contractors to carry out concrete pouring works scheduled from 8.30pm to 4am.
The works are intended for the fixing of the fender of the Batang Rambungan ferry.
With that, ferry users are advised to practice caution throughout the maintenance work period as well as plan their journey ahead including using alternative routes. — DayakDaily
