KUCHING, Nov 16: The online application for postal voting for Malaysians overseas, those in the security and health sectors for the 12th Sarawak Election (PRN12) will open from Nov 8 to 24.
Election Commission (EC) secretary Datuk Ikmalrudin Ishak in a statement today said that postal voting is for those under Form 1B (Malaysians who are abroad) and Form 1C (nine agencies in security and health sectors) voter categories only.
He added the application for postal voters for Form 1A category which include election workers, officers, EC members or officers, police, armed forces and media personnel will be announced later.
Ikmalrudin said the application for online voting must be made at https://mysprdaftar.spr.gov.my/ or at the official EC portal at https://www.spr.gov.my/.
He reminded applicants to make the apply early to avoid any problem or difficulties.
