KUCHING, April 4: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg continued on with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri festivities by attending several open houses in Sibu today.
Accompanied by Minister for Utility and Telecommunication Sarawak Dato Sri Julaihi Narawi, the Premier attended the open houses of several leaders in the area.
According to TVS, his first stop was to Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation, and Talent Development Sarawak Datuk Dr Annuar Rapaee’s open house.
After that, he went to former Igan MP Dato Sri Abdul Wahab Dollah’s open house where the Premier also made the time to mingle with the local community who were present, lending to the joyful atmosphere, which also saw the presence of Daro assemblyman Safiee Ahmad.
During the open house, guests were entertained by performances by local artists such as Herman Tino and Liza Aziz.
Following that, Abang Johari attended the open house of Temenggong Datuk Wan Hamid Edruce Tuanku Mohamad.
Tonight, Abang Johari is expected to attend a Sibu Division Hari Raya Aidilfitri programme at Universiti Teknologi Sarawak (UTS) here. — DayakDaily
