KUCHING, June 23: Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg broke down in tears as the hearse carrying the body of his beloved wife, Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang, arrived at Masjid Jamek Kuching this morning.
Grief was written all over his face as he stood silently, surrounded by family, dignitaries, and close friends, watching solemnly as the casket was carefully carried into the mosque for funeral prayers.

Usually composed in public, the Premier was visibly heartbroken, wiping away tears in a moment that deeply moved many who were present.
It was a quiet, painful farewell to the woman who had stood beside him for decades.

The stop at Masjid Jamek gave the public a chance to pay their final respects to the late Puan Sri Juma’ani, whose passing in the early hours of the morning has left a profound sense of loss across Sarawak.
She will be laid to rest later today at the Samariang Islamic Cemetery. — DayakDaily
