KUCHING, Jan 18: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg today attended a dialog session today with Maybank Investment Bank discussing about Sarawak economic approach.
The half-hour dialogue session was held at a local hotel in Kuching and moderated by Regional Head of Research at Maybank Investment Banking Group Anand Pathmakanthan.
Among the matters deliberated are education and talent development, Post Covid-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030 including banking industry in Sarawak and its function to develop the small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Apart from that, Abang Johari was also inquired by the moderators about Sarawak Sovereign Wealth Future Fund as well as the strategies and investment prospects in the renewable energy sector in particular.
Also present were Sarawak Financial Secretary Dato Sri Dr Wan Lizozman Wan Omar, Director of Economic Planning Unit (EPU) Datu Lester Mathew, Tengku Ariff Azhar Tengku Mohamed, and other distinguished guests. – DayakDaily
