SIBU, July 2: A man was killed after he was involved in a hit-and-run accident in Selangau today.
Mukah district police chief, DSP Muhamad Rizal Alias said in the 6.30am accident at KM 74 Sibu-Bintulu, the unidentified victim was walking along the road when he was hit by a vehicle.
“The victim died at the scene due to serious head injury,” he added.

Muhamad Rizal urged members of the public who have a missing family member, as well as eyewitnesses of the accident to come forward to assist police investigation.
