Police seek public help to locate kin of two sudden death victims in Kota Samarahan

KOTA SAMARAHAN, April 3: The Kota Samarahan District Police Headquarters (IPD) is seeking public assistance in locating the next of kin for two cases of sudden deaths.

In a statement posted on its official social media today, IPD Kota Samarahan identified the first victim as a 50-year-old man named Kong Sien Ming.

The victim, the owner of a salon in Bandar Riyal, Kota Samarahan, was found unconscious on the salon floor by a member of the public.

Ambulance personnel from IJN Kota Samarahan confirmed his death. The police have since transferred the body to the mortuary at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for further action.

The second victim, identified as Berona Bill, was a resident of the Desa Bina Diri shelter for the homeless in Kota Samarahan.

His death was confirmed by an assistant medical officer from SGH. The police have also taken his body to the mortuary for further procedure.

The police are still working to locate the victims’ families.
