BINTULU, Dec 21: Police has launched an investigation on a man after his wife was found tied using metal chain and locked in her room at Sg Plan here today.
Police received a call from local residents at around 9am, after they heard a woman shouting from a house at their residential area.
It was understood that police officers who went to the scene had broken into the house and were shocked to find two terrified children and the female victim locked near a bed and covered with injuries.
The victim and the children were immediately sent to the hospital for treatment.
The suspect, believed to the husband of the victim, has been arrested for further investigation. — DayakDaily
