Police have not received full autopsy report on Sarawakian murder victim Nur Farah Kartini

KUCHING, Aug 7: The police have yet to receive a complete autopsy report for Sarawakian Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah, three weeks after her alleged murder in Hulu Selangor.

According to a news report by TVS, Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan stated that they are still waiting for Sungai Buloh Hospital to release the comprehensive report.

“We have not received the post-mortem report from the hospital,” he said briefly during a media conference on the disposal of case items at the Ara Damansara Police Station, Petaling Jaya today.

The 25-year-old former Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) student from Miri was reported missing on July 10, and her body was discovered in an oil palm plantation in Kampung Sri Kledang, Hulu Selangor on July 15.

On July 26, Lance Corporal Muhammad Alif Monjani, 26, a policeman from Slim River Police Station, Perak, was charged with her murder in the Kuala Kubu Bharu Magistrate’s Court.

The charges are under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which stipulates the death penalty or imprisonment for 30 to 40 years, along with a minimum of 12 lashes if convicted. — DayakDaily
