PetrosNiaga ensures ample LPG supply: Encourages one-to-one cylinder exchange without extra costs

KUCHING, Dec 15: Customers are advised to carry out one-to-one exchange of their liquified petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder exchange once they have used up the contents to prevent unnecessary wastage.

Petroleum Sarawak Berhad (Petros), through its retail LPG arm, PetrosNiaga Sdn Bhd (PetrosNiaga) affirms that there is no specified time limit for the cylinder exchange process.

In a press statement today, the company emphasised that there are sufficient supply of LPG cylinders for homes, commercial and industrial use throughout Sarawak.

“PetrosNiaga has taken the necessary measures to ensure there is no supply shortage across the various sectors in the State.”

It also reminded customers that there willl be no additional cost when switching from other LPG cylinders to Petros’ red or Gas PETRONAS’ green LPG cylinders.

Futhermore, the refill cost remains unchanged at RM26.60 for self-collection.

Customers and sub-dealers are urged to promptly report any instances of dealers imposing extra fees for switching to Petros LPG cylinders.

Reports can be submitted to PetrosNiaga’s Customer Service at 1300-88-2122 so that the necessary actions can be taken.

Subsidised 14kg Petros LPG cylinders are available for purchase through PetrosNiaga’s network of dealers across Sarawak.

Customers can scan the provided QR code to locate dealers in their areas.
