KUCHING, July 12: Petrosains PlaySmart Kuching, located at the Kuching Civic Centre, will be temporarily closed from July 14 until mid-February 2026 to facilitate essential maintenance and enhancement works at the Civic Centre.
According to a media release today, this closure is part of ongoing efforts to ensure a safer, more comfortable, and enriching experience for all visitors.
During the closure period, the Petrosains PlaySmart Kuching team will actively strengthen partnerships with like-minded organisations across Sarawak. These collaborations aim to deliver impactful outreach programmes to communities, sparking curiosity and inspiring change through Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) learning.
