SADONG JAYA, March 11: Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), through its social impact arm Yayasan PETRONAS, brought festive joy to some 200 lower-income families in Sadong Jaya today by distributing food baskets and Ramadan delicacies.
As part of the Program Santuni Madani Ramadan: PETRONAS Memacu Kehidupan Hari Raya Aidilfitri, the initiative was held at Surau Darul Al-Falah.
PETRONAS Sarawak general manager Norazibah Md Rabu and Sarawak federal secretary Dato Ahmad Nadzri Mohd Hassan took part in packing and distributing bubur lambuk, a traditional Ramadan porridge.
Each food basket contained essential items such as cooking oil, canned sardines, and dried rice vermicelli to support families in need.
Additionally, PETRONAS collaborated with the Sarawak Federal Secretary Office, the Sarawak branch of the Malaysian Administrative and Diplomatic Service Association, and the Sadong Jaya District Office to prepare 150 servings of bubur lambuk for the local community. — DayakDaily
