PETRONAS and PETROS case adjourned for one month to allow further negotiations

KUCHING, Aug 25: The High Court in Kuching today granted a one-month adjournment in the case between Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) and Petroleum Sarawak Berhad (PETROS) after both parties jointly requested more time to continue negotiations.

According to a statement issued by PETRONAS, the adjournment was allowed to enable ongoing discussions aimed at reaching a resolution.

“PETRONAS and PETROS today informed the High Court in Kuching that the parties jointly request for the hearing to be adjourned for one month.

“The adjournment was granted to allow the ongoing negotiations between the parties to continue.

“The parties are still involved in discussions with an aim of bringing matters to resolution,” the statement read. — DayakDaily
