KUCHING, Aug 9: Perimeter survey for native customary rights (NCR) land in Kampung Tangga Plaman, Sungai Tamba, and Pulau Tamba Cina in Serian is set to begin this month.
According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) yesterday (Aug 8), the Land and Survey Department (JTS) held a dialogue session to provide detailed explanations and clarification on the approval for individual measurements.
The session was attended by Deputy Minister of Transport Sarawak Dato Henry Harry Jinep and Sarawak Premier’s Office (Education) advisor Datuk Amar Michael Manyin Jawong.
During the session, JTS acknowledged that the NCR land documentation project initiative provided by the Dayak Bidayuh National Association (DBNA) facilitated the measurement process.
