KUCHING, Nov 26: Sam Laya and Abang Abdul Aziz Abang Draup have been reappointed as political secretaries to the Premier of Sarawak in an oath-taking ceremony held at Wisma Bapa Malaysia today.
Both took their oaths before Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas.
The event also witnessed the signing of a Confidential Letter and the official presentation of their appointment letters.
Sam, from Progressive Democratic Party (PDP), and Abang Abdul Aziz, from the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB), had previously served as political secretaries for two years.
Their reappointment is a recognition of their significant contributions in strengthening Sarawak’s administrative agenda.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Transport Dato Henry Harry Jinep, Deputy Sarawak Secretary (Administration) Datu Buckland Bangik, and the chief political secretary to the Premier of Sarawak Dato Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman. — DayakDaily
