MIRI, Sept 11: New Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak Baru (PBDSB)’s member Kenneth Adan Silek, is officially appointed as the chairman for the party’s election working committee.
In disclosing this, PBDSB president Bobby William, said the appointment is about time as PBDSB need to move forward and strengthen itself.
“I believed with new members coming in and joining PBDSB, it will help to change Sarawak political landscape,” he said in a statement today.
Bobby noted, with Kenneth’s appointment, he is given authority to talk to the press on any related issue and matters concerning the party.
“Now PBDSB can talk about numbers, and I hope more Dayaks will make a comeback to PBDSB. It is not too late,” he added.
Kenneth Adan Silek, was among the nine former members of Parti Bumi Kenyalang (PBK) that have quit the party early this month.
Eight others were Ignatius Joseph Bunsuan (N80 Batu Danau), Robert Saweng (N63 Bukit Goram), Leo Bunsu (N49 Ngemah), Sylvester Embuas (N48 Julau/Meluan), Baba Empran (N70 Samalaju), Dr Elli Luhat (N65 Belaga), Lingga Atok (N26 Gedong) and Jeffry Unggat. – DayakDaily.
