KUCHING, Nov 20: Lukanisman Awang Sauni of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) defended P218 Sibuti with a whooping 11,745 majority in a three-cornered battle in the 15th General Election (GE15).
Lukanisman garnered 22,150 votes against Zulhaidah Suboh (PH-PKR), who polled 10,405. On the other hand, Bobby William of Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak (PBDS) lost his deposit as he could only obtain 1,361 votes.
In the 14th General Election (GE14), Lukanisman defeated Jemat Panjang (PH-PKR) and Zulaihi Bakar (GS-PAS) with a majority of 3,676 votes.
Lukanisman obtained 12,214 votes against 8,538 (Jemat) and 1,617 (Zulaihi). — DayakDaily
