KUCHING, July 16: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Youth Wing is ready to propose a candidate from its wing for the coming 15th General Election (GE15) if given the chance.
PBB Youth wing chief Miro Simuh said currently, the Youth wing only has one MP member, which is Sibuti MP Lukanisman Awang Sauni.
“If given the opportunity by the top leadership to select new candidates, we in the Youth wing are ready to propose an energetic and young individual,” he told reporters during a press conference held at PBB headquarters here today.
He added that the Youth wing has also given their support to Lukanisman to remain as a candidate for GE15.
Meanwhile, Miro said the wing has also formed four new bureaus, namely the Programmw Organisation and Activities bureau, Economic and Entrepreneurial bureau, Social and Welfare bureau, and Political, Membership and Relations bureau.
He explained these four bureaus were set up to coordinate the Youth wing movements to ensure more programmes could be implemented. — DayakDaily
