PBB to hold 16th General Assembly from Feb 14-16

KUCHING, Jan 8: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) will hold its 16th General Assembly, themed “PBB: Pillar of Stability, Progress, and Sustainability,” at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) from Feb 14 to 16, 2025.

The PBB Women’s Wing Supreme Council, in a statement today, announced that the Women’s Wing Assembly will convene on Feb 14, followed by a joint opening ceremony with the Youth Wing, officiated by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.

“To welcome delegates and observers from all 82 branches, the Women’s Wing will host a Welcoming Dinner on Feb 13,” the statement read.

The decisions were finalised during the PBB Women’s Wing Supreme Council’s 7th Meeting for 2025 yesterday (Jan 7), chaired by its Women’s Chief, Dato Sri Hajah Fatimah Abdullah, and attended by 40 council members.

Key discussions included reports from the secretary and treasurer, along with updates from various sub-committees tasked with ensuring the smooth execution of the General Assembly.

The council also noted that branch and division-level meetings were successfully concluded by December 2024, extending congratulations to newly elected committee members for the 2024–2027 term.

The Premier is set to officiate at the PBB Branch Delegates Meetings, which will be held across four zones in January 2025.

The meetings will begin with the Central Zone at Sibu Indoor Stadium on Jan 11, followed by the Northern Zone at Pullman Hotel, Miri, on Jan 18.

The Southern Zone meeting will take place at BCCK in Kuching on Jan 19, and the final meeting for the Betong Zone will be held at Dewan Tan Sri Datuk Amar Stephen Kalong Ningkan in Betong on Jan 25. – DayakDaily
