KUCHING, Sept 7: The Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Northern Zone Special Convention is scheduled for this Sunday (Sept 13).

In a press release, Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, also PBB deputy president and the convention’s committee chairman, chaired a meeting to ensure preparations and coordination ahead of the convention run smoothly and in an orderly manner.

The convention is expected to be held at the Miri Indoor Stadium and is expected to bring together about 3,800 PBB delegates from across Sarawak’s Northern Zone.

Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, who is also PBB president, is expected to officiate the convention. — DayakDaily
