SRI AMAN, Oct 5: A 23-year-old man sustained injuries to his left leg when the lorry he was traveling in collided with the rear of a stone-loaded lorry at Jalan Bukit Bangunan today.
According to the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak, a team of firefighters from Sri Aman Station was mobilised following a distress call at 1.18pm.
Upon reaching the scene, firefighters discovered that the accident involved two lorries, with one individual pinned in the passenger seat while another managed to escape unharmed.
Firefighters promptly took action to extricate the conscious man.
He received initial medical treatment from paramedics and was subsequently transported to Sri Aman Hospital for further medical attention.
Once the site’s safety was ensured, the operation concluded at 2.18pm. — DayakDaily
