KUCHING, April 19: A section of Jalan Wan Alwi, stretching from Kampung Kastam Tabuan to Vivacity Megamall, will be partially diverted to accommodate drainage and widening works.
According to a notice issued by Sarawak Metro, the temporary partial diversion will be in place for approximately six months, starting today (April 19) to October 18, 2025, as part of the development of the Blue Line for the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS) project.
“Road users are advised to take alternative routes to ease traffic flow to get to your intended destinations,” it said.
It also urged road users to follow all traffic management measures, road warning signs and speed limit, for the safety of road users and construction workers. – DayakDaily
