SIBU, July 24: There will be a temporary partial road closure at KM25-KM26 of Sibu New Airport Road here from July 25 until Aug 3 to give way for resurfacing works.
According to a notice by the Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak, the closure will be implemented from 8am to 5pm on July 25 and 26, as well as from 8pm to 5am from July 27 to Aug 3.
In a separate notice, JKR Sarawak also announced the partial road closure at KM3-KM4 of Sibu New Airport, the opposite lane, from July 25 to Aug 3.
The department also advised road users to be careful when passing through the affected road.
Meanwhile, a partial road closure at KM4-KM5 of Jalan Ulu Oya (902/3) in Sibu Division is scheduled from July 23 to 30 to give way for milling and resurfacing works.
According to a notice by the Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak, the closure will be implemented from 8pm to 5am throughout the repair work.
