KUCHING, Jan 3: There will be a partial road closure along Jalan Tun Jugah (near Premier 101 Food Centre) here from Jan 3, to Dec 31, 2025.
In a notice by Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd, this is to facilitate the construction and completion of infrastructure works for the Red Line from Kuching Sentral to Pending as part of the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS) Phase 1 project.
It will include temporary road marking and construction works for the ART Station (SR 08).
Road users are advised to be cautious when driving in the area listed above during this partial road closure period.
“Please adhere to all traffic management measures, road warning signs, and speed limits, to ensure the safety of road users and construction workers.
“Sarawak Metro will duly notify the public if there are any changes to the partial road closure dates,” it said.
