KUCHING, Aug 12: A partial road closure will be implemented along Jalan Kuching–Serian, from Taman Greenland Villa towards the JPJ Batu 11 traffic lights, starting Aug 15 until September 2025 to facilitate road repair works.
The Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR) in a notice today said the closure will affect the stretch at 1-13A, Jalan Kuching–Serian in the Kuching Division.
The temporary traffic arrangement is necessary to allow road maintenance activities to be carried out safely and efficiently.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution when passing through the construction area.
For any traffic-related enquiries during office hours, the public may contact JKR Kuching Division Operations Office at 082-203400 (Reman/Rani) or DAL HCM Sdn Bhd at 082-620997 (Roy).
JKR also reminded road users to remain alert and careful when travelling in the construction zone. — DayakDaily
