KUCHING, Sept 9: A portion of the access road to the Wildlife Centre in Matang will be temporarily closed starting from Sept 12 to 20.
In an advisory notice today, Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak said the half-road closure will be implemented from 8am until 5pm to facilitate the movement of heavy machinery required for repair works.
The department has assured that the road will reopen as soon as possible if the repair work is completed ahead of schedule, with the aim of minimising disruptions to traffic flow.
To ensure a safe and smooth journey during this period, road users are advised to plan their routes in advance and adhere to all traffic management signs when passing through the affected area.
JKR Kuching division will provide updates regarding any changes in the closure date, time, or affected areas.
