KUCHING, March 25: Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin says more than two million Sinovac vaccine recipients are set to lose their fully vaccinated status on April 1, should they not go for their third booster shot before the date.

According to Bernama, Khairy said in a media conference at the Parliament building today that 2.09 million Sinovac recipients have yet to go for their third booster dose.

Khairy was quoted saying that to encourage Sinovac recipients to get their booster shot, discussions were held with Singapore following an agreement between both nations to allow cross-border travel without the need for Covid-19 pre-departure and arrival tests or to be quarantined.Ā
