KUCHING, Aug 11: The inaugural “An ACG Symphony” Orchestra Concert attracted over 1,000 people in celebrating vibrant themes of anime, comics, and games (ACG) with exceptional performances by local talents.

The organiser, The Band Lab in a press statement today said the event held yesterday (Aug 10) at Ang Cheng Ho Quarry Multipurpose Hall, marked a significant milestone for Sarawak’s creative industry, showcasing the incredible potential of home-grown musicians and artistes.

The concert, which was graced by Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian, also brought together an eclectic mix of soundtracks from popular anime, comics, and games.

The statement also said this concert serves as an inspiration for both local artists and audiences, setting a new standard for future cultural and entertainment events in Sarawak.

The success of this event also highlights the significance of the newly inaugurated Ang Cheng Ho Quarry Multipurpose Hall, which hosted its first ever night event.
