Only one lane available along Kuching-Bau road to make way for rectification works

KUCHING, May 12: One lane of the Kuching-Bau Road along Pan Borneo Highway will be closed temporarily to make way for rectification works for permanent water pipe crossing starting yesterday.

According to a notice by the Pan Borneo Highway Branch (PBHB) of Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR), the one-lane closure will involve Musi Junction, Kampung Sungai Pinang, and Moyan Bridge.

The temporary closure will continue until the rectification works end.


The department advised road users to drive carefully on affected routes and comply with traffic management measures until work completion.

It would also inform the public of any changes to the work date, time and location. Road users are urged to plan their journey in the affected area.
