KUCHING, Nov 17: Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Kota Sentosa branch chairman Wilfred Yap urges Sarawakians to support Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) during the upcoming 12th Sarawak Election (PRN12).

He said it is crucial for GPS to retain power in PRN12 as it will allow a GPS-led government to complete the numerous people-centric programmes and policies which catered to the needs and welfare of all Sarawakians.

He added GPS has put in place good programmes and policies and there must be stability of leadership to ensure that Sarawak continues to progress and realise its real potential to be fully developed by 2030.

“Another reason for Sarawakians to support the present GPS leadership is because GPS has a proven track record and have already done a lot for Sarawakians with its transparent and fair policies based on consultation obtained from the four component parties forming GPS, namely, Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB), Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS), Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) and SUPP.

“The opposition can talk but time has proven that the opposition cannot deliver on their promises.

“Only GPS can walk the talk,” he said in a statement today.

Meanwhile, Yap who is also SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (PCB) Chief recently assisted a disabled person residing at 6th Mile Penrissen Road here to repair the roof of the latter’s house which had partially collapsed.

Yap said the partially collapsed roof of the house is being repaired through “gotong-royong” by members of SUPP Kota Sentosa and Kota Sentosa 7th Mile Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) under the People’s Project programme for the Kota Sentosa constituency.

He added SUPP PCB is always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone facing problems or those who come across problems of public interest but does not know how to deal with them.

For assistance, contact SUPP PCB at 016-7797688 or 082-246999. Otherwise, visit SUPP head office to request for assistance. — DayakDaily
