KUCHING, Sept 23: One recovery and no Covid-19 cases were reported in Sarawak today.
State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), in a statement today, informed that the state tally of positive cases was thus maintained at 703.
With one patient recovered and discharged from Sibu Hospital, this brought the total number of recovered cases in Sarawak to 681 or 96.87 per cent of total positive cases so far.
A total of three patients were still receiving treatment in hospitals with one each in Sungai Buloh Hospital, Selangor, Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) and Bintulu Hospital.
SDMC also informed that the one case screened in Sandakan, Sabah and detected in Sarawak was receiving treatment in Bintulu Hospital.
In addition, only one cluster remained active in Sarawak which was the Alam Cluster in Bintulu but all eight cases have recovered and been discharged from hospital.
Meanwhile, Sarawak also recorded 11 more persons-under-investigation (PUI) with two cases pending laboratory test results.
There were also 19 more persons-under-surveillance (PUS) checked in to identified hotels to undergo quarantine.
As of today, there were a total number of 646 individuals undergoing quarantine in 11 hotels throughout the state. ā DayakDaily
