KUCHING, Feb 12: One medical personnel was tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24-hours in Sarawak.
State Disaster Management Committee (JPBN) in a statement disclosed that out of the total 83 cases recorded today, one of the patients was a medical personal from Sibu district.
With the additional new case, it has brought the total cumulative number of cases involving medical personnel infected with Covid-19 in the state to 174 cases.
Sibu district continued to contribute the highest number in the state with 44 cases today where 28 were detected from active case detection (ACD) operations, five from voluntary screening, five with symptoms, four from Pasai Cluster and one Sarawakian returning from Covid-19 high risk are in Sabah. -DayakDaily
