KUCHING, May 15: Property buyers may obtain and assess their credit score on the spot at the Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers’ Association (Sheda) Property Expo, happening at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) from July 14 to 16.
A credit score is a three-digit number, typically between 300 and 850, which represents an individual’s creditworthiness and relates to how likely they are to repay debt.
Sheda in a statement today said in addition to financial institutions, the expo will also feature credit facilities to support an effective and smooth bank loan application process for visitors and to reinforce the event’s objective to be a one-stop centre for interested homeowners and investors to identify and purchase property.
First held in 1998 under the name “Sarbex”, this year marks 25 years since the expo’s inception.
“Exhibitors will be able to maximise the 3-day event to build brand recognition, demonstrate value-added services, feature existing and upcoming projects, engage with prospects and maintain client loyalty.
“Developers are also encouraged to use the platform to register interest for pre-launch development projects,” it said.
With just over 60 days til the event, Sheda also welcomes interested companies whose products and services are linked to enhancing the homeownership experience, such as interior designers and building material suppliers.
Home appliances and furnishings suppliers are also invited to participate.
The main sponsors of Sheda Property Expo 2023 are Ibraco Berhad, Lee Onn Development Sdn Bhd and Chen Ling Development Sdn Bhd.
The event is supported by the Ministry of Public Health, Housing and Local Government Sarawak (MPHLG), Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB), Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd and Centre for Technology Excellence Sarawak (Centexs).
