KUCHING, April 28: Sarawak’s Normah Medical Specialist Centre (NMSC) in Kuching has received international recognition for the first time by winning the prestigious 2024 Hospital Service Excellence Award for their excellent service to patients.

According to a TVS news report, the ceremony took place last night (April 27) at Borobudur Hotel in Jakarta.


According to NMSC chief executive officer Vesmawati Jaafar, the achievement reflects the medical centre’s ongoing commitment to providing the best possible service to all patients.

“It is an honour for us to receive the award for our dedication as the best service provider in the health industry, as well as the recognition of our commitment at the international level to provide the best to patients at home and abroad,” she was quoted as saying in the news report.

Vesmawati also highlighted NMSC’s commitment to enhancing the quality of service and facilities for patients.

Also present at the ceremony were NMSC head of Corporate Affairs and Business Development Alina Ibrahim, NMSC Nursing director Nadzrah Basri, and NMSC chief financial officer Masniah Abang Dawi. — DayakDaily
