KUCHING, Jan 3: Non-Sarawakians who have completed their Covid-19 vaccination, who wish to enter Sarawak for leisure purpose only have to fill in the EnterSarawak as well as the e-Health Declaration Form (eHDF) instead of applying for it.
Among the documents travellers need to submit are their Covid-19 vaccination certificate or Ministry of Health (MOH) Covid-19 vaccination card, identity card, flight tickets, purpose of visit, itinerary of visit, proof of tour booking and proof of entering for leisure.
This is according to the latest Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) released by Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) following Sarawak entering into Phase 4 of National Recovery Plan (NRP).
According to the latest SOPs, cultural and heritage arts premises such as museums, libraries, art galleries, cultural villages as well as cultural performances are allow to operate.
Public tourist attraction such as zoos, farms, aquarium edutainment centers, extreme recreation parks, adventure park, nature parks and others are also allowed to open.
These activities are allowed in compliance with physical distancing where it is mandatory for visitors to wear face masks at all time and in accordance to all SOPs set by the Ministry of Tourism Arts and Culture Sarawak.
All tourism and cultural activities other than those under the Negative List are subject to the Tourism Sector SOPs that have been approved by the SDMC. – DayakDaily.
