No new cluster; 77 new cases link to 10 existing clusters

KUCHING, Oct 2: There are no new Covid-19 clusters reported in Sarawak today.

State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a statement said however, 77 out of 2,121 new Covid-19 cases registered in the State today were linked to 10 existing clusters.

The 10 clusters are Lorong Urun cluster which recorded an increase of 35 cases, Bungey 2 cluster (19), Pinang Jawa cluster (8), Sepangah cluster (5), Opar cluster (3), Jalan Usaha Jaya cluster (2), Sibuluh-Nowang cluster (2), KM19 Jalan Kuching-Serian cluster (1), Batu 8 Jalan Kubong cluster (1) and Batu 13 Jalan Puncak Borneo cluster (1).

At the same time, SDMC announced the end of Lorong Cahaya Damai Cluster in Kuching today after no new infections were reported within the past 28 days.

At present, there are 107 active clusters in the State. – DayakDaily
