KUCHING, Jan 30: Construction of a new plantation road for Kampung Koran Plaman in Serian is expected to be completed by April 26.

According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) today, construction on the project which cost RM150,000, started on Jan 27 with a three-month work time frame.

Syarikat Monti-Kali was appointed as the contractor, while Serian District Council (MDS) is the implementing agency responsible to monitor and ensure the project is completed according to schedule.

The project site was handed over by Bukit Semuja assemblyman John Ilus to the contractor on Jan 28. — DayakDaily
