KUCHING, Aug 22: One new cluster has been identified in Serian dubbed the Kampung Lintang Baru Cluster, where 65 individuals were found positive for Covid-19.
The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a statement today, said Kampung Lintang Baru Cluster, which is a community cluster, involved the residents of Kampung Lintang Baru.
“Out of a total of 92 individuals screened, 62 individuals, including the index case, were found positive for Covid-19 while 30 others were negative. Three new cases were also reported from the cluster today,” the committee said.
SDMC added, all of the positive individuals were brought to Serian Hospital and the quarantine and low-risk patients treatment centres (PKRC) in the district for isolation and treatment. — DayakDaily
